⇝ 19:00 – 03:00
On the 8th of August, Kvarteret invites local label and event organizer Tek No Tajm. As a treat for this August night they have invited none other than one of their favourites – S.A.M.
⇝ S. A. M. (Delaphine)
The S.A.M. sound has been characterized as cosmic, trippy, spiritual, psychedelic, peaceful, and groovy. It’s the combination of these attributes with the playfully danceable beats and smiling performances that has brought S.A.M. to be one of the most interesting underground acts of today.
Having toured all continents of the world playing clubs like Fabric, Robert Johnson, Sankeys, and Rex Club, S.A.M.’s goal is to intensify his act on stage and in the studio. Currently working on a second album as well as planning a live performance he is heading toward a great 2019.
S.A.M is currently managing three record labels: Delaphine, Dahlia, and Oscillat Music, releasing his own productions as well as artists such as: Ricardo Villalobos, Mandar, Butch, Matthew Dekay, and many more. As one third of the trio Mandar he is one of the most productive players in the scene today.
⇝ Réa Réa (Tek No Tajm)
Having spent only about a year in Stockholm, Réa Réa has quickly made a name for herself in Sweden’s club venues where she is spreading a rhythmic drive of lo-fi, break, and house. She debuted as a DJ in Chicago in 2016, inspired by the city’s vibrant house scene, and has since then released several tracks on her own label Tek No Tajm. During the past year, she has opened for headliners such as Kerri Chandler, Kornél Kovács, DJ Boring, both Paul and Fritz Kalkbrenner, just to mention a few. In May this year, she released her second EP, a playful mixture of house titled ‘Seaweed’.
⇝ Mathias de Jounge (Tek No Tajm)
Mathias de Jounge’s house and techno selection is inspired by simple, yet distinctive sounds which are regularly accompanied by a longing drive. As co-founder of Tek No Tajm and also Klubb Okidoki, he organizes monthly events in Stockholm, often accompanied with artist collaborations to share the art and music space. Electronic music has played a great part in Mathias life since his early youth. While artists like Justice and Moby occupied his ears then, he finds joy in playing the same sounds that once may have inspired them.
⇝ Sergej Orlov (Tek No Tajm)
Sergej’s passion for electronic music first started when he was a child, growing up in Kiev and listening to his dad’s record of Oxygène by Jean Michel Jarre. Music has been a big part of his life ever since. Now he takes great pleasure in evoking emotions and instigating body movement on the dance floors by playing lovingly selected pieces of luscious disco, velvety house, crisp electro and hard-hitting techno. Sergej has managed the house & techno club Klubb Rå with close friends in Linköping before moving to Stockholm and joining his dearly beloved Tek No Tajm crew.
⇝ Daniel Lien (Tek No Tajm)
Daniel has since his DJ-debut mid 2018 exploded like a handgrenade over the Swedish nightlife. With a residency on some of Swedens most respected venues and the fact that he has been curating three weekly house clubs this year, one of them behind “House at Fasching” makes his feet buried deep within the Swedish electronic scene. Daniel, together with his pulsating and stabby minimal grooves has since his dj-debut played on parties like p3-guld and lollapaloza, curated parties for the labels Lundgren and of course Tek No Tajm and are now looking forward for his Kvarteret debut.
